Hi All!
this is my first post on this creative forum.
I would like to get some feedback on this alienlike character.
Do you have any ideas how to make him look less like a soldier and more animatible.
and yes, he is supposed to have hands to :)
cheers,
leo

Overlapping action? Rofl.... that's a new term I've never heard of. Well, when doing humans, there isn't much to have as overlapping action... only.... you know, the male and female "appendages" that jingle here and tehre but those aren't really shown...
overlapping action isnt necessary .. but from what is ee , you'll be reliant on clothes .. like headbands, or waist satchels... unless you give him hair |

I love the costume design on this guy, but If you want him to look less like a soldier and still keep the clothes he has(that way you don't have to undo a lot of your work!), throw a robe on him. That will give him a more regal, hyper-intelligent look. As for making him more animatable (sp?), I'm not a 3D expert, so I can't offer much there.
Good luck with him! He looks great!! |

thanks Drawnblud!
pherhaps the aristocratic way is a good directon: a robe, a puffy turtleneck and a walking stick. I would like him to be a sort of mid range buerocrate(spelling?) with a inner rage kind of type guy. Im babbeling...
Just realized that I am in two weeks of all nighters work, so I cannot model much for a while...
animatible: actually I dont really know myself I think Iment somthing like adding extra stuff to him to get overlapping action. a bit vague sorry.
