New project I started, any suguestions to get more colour variaton in the image.

Wings are a bit out of alignment..
Background should be further away, the perspective needs tweaking.

I can't exactly say how, but the objects in the background seem to be "wrong" in some way.
The scale and view angle of those isn't always correct. But hey, I bet this isn't finished yet ;D Plenty of time to correct those =)

This is going to work out nice when you get it finished

Can't say how good it is until it's finished. That's what makes everything so wonderful =)

Thanks here is an update before I relook at things and decide what to do. Over paint or rebuilding from the bottom up.

Here is a small update, was reading the colour theroy thread in the discussion forum and I thought that's my problem. So I tried to apply that to some rocks that I was painting. Here is the before and after.
