this is the head of a strange animal that's been running through my mind, it is highly inspired by a recent "after the dinosaurs" show I saw on TV (many others in the US caught it I assume) maybe i'll draw the rest soon,
btw this is the first serious drawing I've done with the wacom in a LONG LONG time I just could never get a hold of that *drawing on teflon* feel that a wacom gives me... so I only used it for touching up photos and doing textures for models... maybe from now on I'll get more done
I love creature design and weapons and such, but I have not been practicing at all, since all my art energy is spent at school doing life drawing and such... hopefully I'll get more time to do my own thang |

It looks good. It would be interesting to make a body for it too. What are those scribbles and why is there some kind of navigator bar at the top? It's a little hard to comment on fantasy creatures but a thing that I noticed is this: The lateral eyes is typical of prey that has to spot its predators. While the fangs are usually a predatorial trait. Predators usually have their eyes fixed in a more frontal position (like us). Mayhap it's some kind of scavenger then? |

it probably is a scavenger, infact I'm thinking more of a beast of burden, and the "fangs" are more like tusks, heh once they grow beyond a certain size they are usefull mostly for digging into things (earth, bark, ice) and for show, btw the reason this has a bar on top is cus it's a screenshot from paint-chat (kinda like a groupboard) |

I'd like to see what paintchat's all about. Could you provide a link or something? |

oh yah, of course, www.drawsomething.com
there's a small matter of a password, mail [email protected] and ask for it, it's not as crowded a chat as it used to be, but it's fun when there's a decent crowd going |

thanks! Are you going to conclude the design of this creature? You never know, it might come in handy in the future |
