uhm...I agree. most of the objects only have a flat color - work on shading + highlights on everything. and don't just airbrush it all with the same texture. Skin, leather, metal, cloth and wood all have very different textures to them and reflect/absorve light in very different ways.

The shadow cast by the sword on the woman's hair is way out of place. It seems to me that it should be on her face or close to it. Keep a consistant lightsource.

The shadows on the skin aren't really well represented using the midtone plus black. Try using different colors like orange/brown or something like that...look around and sample the colors from reference pictures if you need to. The shading on the hair could use more detail - to show that there is lots of strands of hair and not some tentacles or something. There are lots of things in this picture that have a huge "shinyness pontential" explore it!

I might be sounding a little like an ass here but I just ran out of sugarcoating so it'll have to be this way.
