If you haven't played it already, Castle Wolfenstein is an awesome multiplayer game! All the team-play elements and the grenade-lobbing make it so much fun, I think it'll take over Counterstrike as the next big LAN game really soon!
So I decided to sketch this piece of fan-art on a plane flight from Sydney to Perth.
Right now, I'm trying to colour it, but still using the pencil lines in some way to enhance the image.
I'm finding it really hard to do because it involves painting two different parts - the white space of the paper and the black lines of the pencil - and getting them to work together to produce a good-looking picture.
Can anyone offer any clues about how this could be achieved, such as other artists' works, tutorials or even painting a quick example yourself? |

I like the gun and bullet belt feeder construction, it looks 'strong' hehe.
Although if you liked Wolf, you'll love Medal of Honor. Because i didn't like wolf at all, but MOH really kicks butt, and i just played demo which only has 1 level - it beats full ver. of wolf! HA |

[Shizo] - If you check out any Arnie movie with a mini-gun in it, you'll see that feeding-belt leading off the gun to the ammo pack. I usually use them because they look sturdier and more hi-tech than just a belt of ammunition. Haven't played Medal of Honor yet, but I hear it's pretty good. I'm sure the story in it is much better than single player Castle Wolfenstein, which is nothing incredible and a little too short.
Sukhoi - "still a bit flat though"? Not sure what you mean there. Maybe you're just referring to the fact it isn't finished?

Hey I was just talking about this stuff in random musings, Medal of honor on playstation is cool, when you get behind the machin gun i turn the base and sound right up and the control in my hand shakes like a double ended dildo, it's just like being in the opening scene of saving privet rhyan. Oh yeah nice piece, can you post the progresive pics? also can you take a look at my post in digital art decussion, I really need your help, YES YOU! |

SWANY, I'm afraid to ask but how did you get so familiar with the shake of a double-ended dildo? |

Wolf is good, the story and narrative is just a bit boring....Medal of honour is good also.
[Shizo], do you see a gun (draw_gun-thing) in MOO??
btw, Highfive. Your drawing is coming along nicely. Still a bit flat though, but I guess you'll fix that
