as you might be able to tell, i'm a bit new to this whole "art" business. suggestions please?

just as a side note, it's for a social studies project... so it doesn't really HAVE to be good. but it's a good excuse to jerk around with art instead of doing math.

I don't know anything about explosions or guns but I browsed your other drawings a bit and it looks like you've got a good start here. I liked especially the head that you drew on 11/25. It has some anatomy issues but it really looks 3D You have to keep practising with the basic shapes and routines a bit more, though, if you want to get the proportions right. Try finding a book from the library because not all art books are good and wasting money on that kind of books is.. well, stupid *heh*

Hawkone wrote some good tips for beginners into the "Booyah Grandma.. booyah" (finished works section) thread so I recommed checking that out.

Oh, and I really liked the drawing you did with MS Paint too, creative use of airbrush
