well your art is surely good stuff. I am impressed with your ability to paint so realistically. Good show. Is your website really full of viruses?

Kuzya
actually I've looked at your last three pieces posted here and they are all pretty darn good. Granted this one is the best of them but the others are good too no doubt. |

Nice. Real nice. I particualrly like the modeling on her left hand. Don't take this the wrong way, but did you work from a photo that was next to this pic, or did you have the photo under this as you drew it?

whoah .. many comments .. thanks
well
Indian_Prophet: that tutorial that actually got me going was that one with making a candle .. where you start with defining all your colors and dark shadows .. and then you add highlights little by little .. before i used to work otherway around and with airbrushes only .. now i use hard brushes on preasure stroke 50% that works for me..
Artgolem:
well for this particular photo of milla i have it in 8.5 by 11 on my desk .. so thats where i got that one from, but i do sometimes sketch on top of a photo just to get some proportions right .. but that mostly on landscapes cause thats i am bad with so far.. well depends on how complicated and how much details ..
don perkins:
well that one above is done all with hardbrushes at 50% i use this one particular type of brushes... "spatter brushes"
thats about it .. thanks again .. gnightz..
p.s.
here is something else for ya all..
original size image...
enjoy ... CLICK HERE

Very GOOD stuff Kuzya!!! Nice solid proportions. I like the way you use grays/neutral colors to build the base for you work and then move into color. My only Critque would be to try and add depth/realistic coloring by incorporating a broader range of color. Warm and cool colors. I trust any other things I could critque you already are working on so I won't mention them. Thanks for sharing.
While I'm at it though... I don't appreciate being refered to as a "dumb ass." Particularly after I took the time to edit my posting when I realized I was over-reacting. The Post in question is here. I thought I was doing the right thing by alerting people your site may have been infected, but I guess not so...Sorry again.
