Here is something that I was sketching for like 10 minutes. There was no ref used. Done out of boredom.

<rant on>If you only cared about this enough to work on it for 10 minutes and were bored doing it, what do you expect other people to say about it?<rant off>

Her left eye (our right) looks wider than the other. The eyes also seem skewed in relation to the rest of the face. And of course, the whole left side of the picture needs some shading applied to it. The hair is looking pretty nice though . Are you planning to work more on this?

In the future it might be better to just post the picture and not say anything, rather than give people the impression you don't care about your own work. That's the impression I got, anyway.

I wasnt saying that I dont care about my own work. I must of came off the wrong way....

What I meant to say was that I was bored so I decided to sketch something. I drew this girl out of my head without looking at any reference.

I dont know if I will finnish it, it was more or less something to pass my time. I just felt like posting it to see if I would get a reply that it was worth finnishing or not.

I guess not?

Anyway, thanks for pointing out the eye...I see what you mean. As far as the shading on the face...I did this in ten minutes and didnt even start on the left side....I guess I will finnish shading it, but I probably wont post it...unless you want to see it

I think that Monkei just thought you didn't care about it, and if you don't care, you aren't going to take any c&c to heart... it doesn't mean he doesn't like it.
