Erika, very nice drawing( and ya pretty too! ).
I would add some red to your cheeks, in that "plain" beige it looks a tiny bit falt. I think a bit of red, like the red on the heels, would be fine. |

The term is wrong and silly, no offense Morgan. Besides, it doesn't take that much extra effort to type out 'computer coloring'.

Yes I use layers, and lot of layers for this. Why the question ?.. do you think i've made a bad use of it ? |

heheh, thanks pro-phet
I did my color-up in Photopaint . . . what I do is make the line art into a multiply layer, and then color under it. The delicate lines suggested a watercolor-ish treatment, so that's how I painted. After it was all colored, I flattened the image, copied it, blurred it, and then lightly faded the blurred version into the crisp one in a few places.
I'm normally not a fan of color in comics, but for pin-ups like this, I can deal
I'm not real happy with how I treated the hair, but I had to get ready for a date and couldn't spend more time on it. |

Oh my God. I was getting pretty bored of this thread, but wondered what the hell else could be done/asked to/about this thing...?
Then I see synj's take on the subject.
That is possibly one of THE funniest things I have ever seen!
I'm assuming it is also a self portrait!? (And I'm sure you're not chicken, like Ms. Erika here, to produce a reference photo!)
Too funny. Thanks for the laugh! |
