I thought this was finished, but now I am thinking the legs look unfinished- too mushy or something and the tail looks like it's stabbing her bottom. What do you think?

I don't think the claws on the feet are working for you, It may look better if you had two in the front and one in the back. Tripod style. Also, i think you should decide if she is standing or flying. If she is flying her legs should not be so strait. legs are only strait when they are bearing weight.

Hello,
Very nice drawing, I agree with the above post, define the feet in a vertical plain.
Also, the legs seem a little short to me, the knees are especially high. Check the distance in your own body from the crotch to the knees, then that same distance up for reference. Remember that the anatomical center of the body is just below the crotch. That means that the distance from that point to the top of the head, or the heel (her feet are extended) should be the same.
I'd add a little more hips, but that's just me |
