Tanks! They're one of my favourite subjects.

I'm not a master but here's a fast scribble of how I'd approach the problem (=painting a tank). No ref, it's just a basic (german-ish) tank.

timur04: Try to stay away from the small brushes until your picture looks right in values etc. You seem to already have a good imagination of form. I only would make the tank a bit darker like ripelly did it. Your tank seems to be white.

And: "The amount of light affecting a surface depends on how much that point of the surface is pointing towards the light. When the surface is perpendicular to the light it is lit 100%, and when the surface if parralel to the light or facing away, it is not lit." -Frost

Ripelly: How come the scandinavian folks can draw so well? Do you have too much time up there?
