I used my first painting made with wacom as a reference for the robot i'm now trying to create. I hope that you'll give me some feed back cause i'm out of ideas..

1322 polygons, but it's only "low" poly model for shorting redering time.
I'll add the bump maps later when the modelling part is done, and I think i'm not going to make animation, just one or two pictures.
I allready have in my mind, how i'm going to make the legs, now I only want to know what kind the left hand should be and should I change something? |

original design, i think the elbow needs some more polys, the textures could use some bumpmaps. im not sure if its supposed to be functional though. it reminds me of them flying creeps with big arms that haunted me in unreal 1. maybe... some cool jetengines on the back? |

Holy God fucking weasels, yes.
YES.
My only concern is that you're expanding the robot. Right now, the disembodied arm look is bloody sveek. And even there, the SKETCH is my favorite: sort of Giger meets Steven Garofalo meets Clive Barker meets (forgive this reference) the monster from "Virus". You know. That awful Jamie Lee Curtis film. Anyway. You said you're working out the other arm, which suggests to me that you're going to do a torso and (gasp) perhaps a pelvis. If this is the case, get something gun-turret-slash-organic going. Anime style.
I can't stop thinking of all those McFarlane toys now. This is SO action figure. I love it. |
