Ok folks, it's quite preliminary a sketch, but should convey the idea ok. I still have trouble drawing a decent head for her, so I stuck with the stupid blob.
C&C most welcome! - with your help I may even get this one finished. |

Her form looks good, and I like how you did the jewel. Her right hand though is having a few issues in my opinion. The way it flows into her cloak it like it suddenly grew a bit. Also her hand is looking like it is forced into a very odd position, not to mention it looks like she is doing something very ... immoral to her breast. I think you should also give the cloak a clasp, that would be a nice detail. Good luck with the face! It is a nice start over all, you're going to colour this yes? Have fun! Hope you give her some hair though ... |

Ok, got her a head and also edited the hands and the body somewhat. I used a friend as a model for the face/head.

Big difference already! Looking good!
I agree with Jezebel - she needs some feet. Maybe some really cool boots!?
I'm a little confused about her clothing. Her skirt and shirt seem a little bland for someone who would wear a crazy, furry cape! Maybe spice up her wardrobe a bit...?
And is that an empty sheath? Where's the sword?
Looking good though - and these are just a few of my thoughts.
Hope it helps, or at least gives you stuff to think about...

Looking good, Marvel! Your drawing of the head from a real-life reference works nicely.
I think adding a drawn-back hood to her cloak and gloves to her hands would help get her occupation across. |

Ok, you poited out pretty much the things I thought I'd address.
Jezebel: I was thinking about boots or so but I suck just too much when it comes to drawing feet, I gave up. Don't worry, I'll return to the subject.
Wus: I kinda thought of just drawing some ornaments and/or perhaps adding some slight piece of armor (breast-plate or so), something to give the clothes more detail. Also the small-sword is lacking because I'm not quite sure yet should I draw a character in the front with the sword in his back or not.
Highfive: Even though she did steal the jewel, I'm still not sure if she's a pro or if she's just getting it back to herself (or so). Also was thinking the character could be something out of an Iain M Banks novel, so not exactly medieval.
Thanks for your comments - I'll return to the pick once I'm done with work today.
