Hi everyone, I'm new here, and i'd like to hear some comments on my sketches.. I just recently got a graphire tablet, and after a few hours of experimenting i came up with these few sketches..
I'd just like to hear some opinions on what i could do better / attempt to ... make prettier pictures.

Perhaps you could start by blocking in the main shapes and colours. Once you have done that you can continue to refine your shapes, paying attention to contrast the your source of light.
Start with the large shapes and work down. Start with your large brush and work down
work in separate layers.
These things may help you a bit I hope. Also checkout the speed painting thread in the finished gallery. Lots of good tips and art are flying around in there. |
