Hey everyone:

This is a picture of my 4 year old niece that I am doing as a present for my brother and his wife for Christmas. The reference photo was taken in her gymnastics class, and the wall behind her was pretty boring and non descript. I intended on fully illustrating her in what I hope to be a relatively realistic style.

My question to you is, what type of background do you think would really work well with this type of image? As you can see the main colors are going to be flesh tones and pinks. Please let me know what you think will work best, be it a meadow, or just a color or gradient...whatever. Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

What about a poppy field? You could have red petals blowing around her... I dunno...
