thats pretty good man though i do think the face has a sort of male quality to it mabye its the shading or somthing |

Your background is awesome, I love the flow and colour and scheme to it! Very nice work there indeed. The wings also look very neat, they have a nice form to them. But sadly, I think your character leaves something to desire. She (I'm assuming female here, but I could easily picture a male as well) comes across as rather flat and disproportionate. Your arms seem to twist, the eyes seem a bit high up on the head and there doesn't really seem to be a back to the head either, and her hips seem rather squished vertically (I think it is vertical, I always mix up horizontal and vertical sorry) and her right hand is flowing into the left arm. She doesn't quite seem attached to the wings either. Your lighting is a bit ambiguous too. I think if you can study up a bit more on anatomy and fix her up you'd have a really awesome piece here! Is she shedding feathers? It is kind of looking like that now that I take another look. |
