ok I had to stop drooling to write this...

those are 3 of the coolest/best/stylish paintings I have seen here for a while. something about them just gets me. ya know?

I dream of having the artistic talent and imagination to be able to pull those off. ugh

Wow! ... that's some really nice work. I especially like the style. But I'm having a hard time figuring out if it's digital or something else. It looks like maybe digitally colored pencils. Am I close? ..anyways, beautiful work. Thanks for posting it.

Very cool. Look like oils. Dark and freaky but familiar, too. Draconian tittilation. are those digital? If so with what and how? I'm sorry to be so vague and generic.

your work are alway top notch! your painting style is terriffic and does add alot of depth and mood to your artwork. Your style or the way the you draw your character reminds me abit like marc selvestri's(Darkness, Cyberforce, Comic artist)...the bottom one looks much like the darkness guy

First thing I thought when I saw them - vebjorn. It's cool to see the style evolving somewhat away from the oil finish (I like that style to but its great to see a little variation). The backgrounds are a little intersting, looks like someone has been having a play. I think the upper biceps in the last two images seem a little large. Nice as always though.

What's the deal with the new name? Did you lose your password. The old one was cool.

These are awesome. One of a kind style. You seem to have been experimenting, with great results. I didn't even think Vebjorn at first.

Nice to see your work on the forums again. Your style seems to evolve a little every time you show something new.
I like the blending of rendered and sketch work and the variation of styles of the three pics.
There's only one small thing that bothers me about the first pic and that's the height of her hair considering where the top of her head should be unless she has kabuki style hair.

HI
First, thanks for the comments

second, I just could not get my old password and name to work, so I created a new, with my nickname instead.

Third, The technique is a mix of scanned pencils work, and vairous materials, composed and worked over in photoshop.
I actually scanned both sides of a pancake recently. Lovely texture. Used for some work not shown yet;-)

BTw..the last one is for a Conan..woot.
