You do great sketches. I like this one very much. Only point I would draw your eye to is that he may need a little more upper thigh and backside at it appears a little small. I understand that its the style so the change I propose is only subtle. |

Wow, this is extremely clean in the design, I love it. The design for the shoes is incredible as well. My only critique is that his body posture seems rather static if he is jumping in the air, it seems unnatural. If he was more hunched forward it would appear more realistic. It's great work either way.

Hey roundeye!
Doing a great job, this new peice is awesome! Fantastic hair style and shadowing, its really looks three dimensional! Hmm his left thigh seems a bit distorted though, it comes above his waist at too sharp of an angle.. kinda like its popped out of its socket. Maybe if you lower it a bit or widen his waste, it will be fixed. Doing great man! |

Master Roundeye!
Once again I love your skills! The only thing I could suggest, and I think this has been an issue with some of your other drawings as well, is you should concentrate on making your silhouettes as clean as the rest of your work. Other than that, I envy your abilities greatly.
Keep kickin' ass, |

Looken good Mr 'Round is my eye'...
As per this is a most spendid drawing, I do enjoy it ever so much!.
Perhaps his arm is a little long, if it were to drop, where would it be in relation to his thigh..?. This I ask.
I wouldn't change it personally but you asked!!.
His other arm is maybe a wee thin even though its farther back. Again a wouldn't necassarily change it....no-one else has noticed so either its not very noticable or I'm nuts. The later quite probable.
Cherio!
PS I wait with baited breath for the final!.

You should put his hands back how they were and put a rifle in it, otherwise his whole posture makes no sense. the sphere on the shin is at an improper angle compared to the foot and toe, and the face could use a tad bit of work.
nice overall
And I had to stop coloring your other pic, time constraints. Wonderful pencils to work over though. |

this is prolly a minor point, but on the shin guards for the dude, on the left leg, the leg is a side view, with that round cylinder going straight out, but on his right leg, the cylinder is point straight at the viewer, like the leg is facing us, but the legs view seems to be closer to some where half way in between the two.

thanx lukias! i know, i know. theres tonnes wrong. my patience is wearing rather thin as of late.
Spartan, what pic did you start colouring. id love to see it anyways. are you saying the round part on the shin is still fucked, even in the latest version?? or were you lookin at the one above. rifles are for pussies anyways. perhaps a pointed stick would suffice. |

very nice, in the last revision, it looks like his fist/finger is getting lost in his shirt, perhaps re add highlight to it? |

Wonderful technique, great painting as usual, but the only thing I can notice is that the thighs seem exactly the same size, maybe its just me but I'd make the leg furthest away a little smaller for perspective, but thats just being picky!
Wonderful,

I like your loose, highly stylized sketch-work very much. I think your sketch looked great the first time. I would have only changed it if it would have made a substantial difference. I'm kinda bored with realizm so I actually appreciate all those little imperfections ... makes him more interesting. I would take the crits more as mental notes or maybe others who want to achieve more realistic results can benifit from them. I'd hate to see your style lose some impact due to trying to make it look too realistic... so stay loose. If I was at your level of drawing( which i'm not,I'm beneath you) I'd concentrate more on doing more interesting action poses. I say this only because you seem to have everything else down packed as far as I know. maybe if you do like what Golangria said and make him leaning forward like he's putting his weight forward and maybe you could make his chin pushing forward too...I don't know. anyways your works is "Da Bomb"... some of the most appealing and inspiring on this forum in my opinion(I'm new here) and your work is sort of the style I am after. can't wait to see this one finished. are you gonna color it or just keep it b&w? |
