Hi everybody. I'm just doing this picture cause during that lesson post I notice again that my colours always look like washed out. Now I tried to get a better result in colours as in the last pics and I think I improved a little. This one is to colourfull now (to much green and ywllow) but I'll work on it a little more.
What do you think?

I'm suprised to be the first one to comment on this one

It's great but I think you should throw in somekind of size relation in there. It doesn't need to be very obvious but at least a few hints here and there. How tall is this mech ? 20 feet or human sized drone ?
And yes I agree there is a lot of yellow in your pic but it's not too dramatic.
Maybe it would be nice to sharpen some details in the area of your pic that you consider most important and where you want to attract the eye.

Details : I reaaaally like the cockpit. It's a nice change from angular and blunt previous designs we see.
Question : Why is the gattling gun amo thingy goes trough the cockpit ? Aren't the arms' movement dependent from the cockpit ?

P.S.: Just noticed but this is my 200th post
P.P.S.: I'm barely awake.....

egerie: Thank you for your comment! You are right in all points. I didn't think to much abou the scene just wanted to do some colour training. Thats why a relation is missing and the arms are connected to the cockpit (I just thought it might look good ). I don't know if I'll put a relation in there caus I don't know how to do it without changing to much (time!). I'm just sharpening details and changing some colors. Now the whole pic is to brown . I'll post next version in one or two hours!
Thank you for saving the 200th post for me .

Briareos: What does jig mean? Never heard of that before.

This is the next step with totaly strange colours. I just don't know how the colours should look like. I'm probably going mad in near future . Crits are welcome.

A jig is a little dance

My first thought was that he was the robot-equivalent of a truant from school, leaning against a brick wall with a cigarette in his hand Probably not what you were going for, but that's what I thought.

Anyway, excellent use of colors (especially in the second image).
