OK, so Im new to this hole digital art thing. I used to paint way back in the day but with kids I dont want the paint on the walls and other unknown places. So I desided to try this. Here is my first attempt, tell me what you think. It still feels to blurry and I have no clue how to correct that.

I used the paintbucket for the base color. Other then the text tool for my name all I used was highlight and shade tools (mostly to get used to using them)

Thanks

looks nice. the clouds are so soft, they're done very well. maybe you can get more depth by adding some hazy hills way in the back. how about some objects\creatures for a sense of scale?

hey, thats nice
i like these clouds
for a more unblurred look, you could try switching to hard edged tools at some places.
i use a 1x1 or 3x3 hard edged airbrush for most of that.

at the tools you tried: i began using a brush set to hardlight for shading things as it gives a good amount of control over what you doing. just try

Sounds like a good idea. I'll give it a shot here in the next few days or so!
