i hoped that the pic worked this time..

this is my first post in this forum even though i have visited it quite a few times in the past year, I hope this works... I was hopeing for any feed back on the model that i am animating now. More specifically on the color scheme it is not colored at all... please give me some ideas feel free to post pics of your ideas as well...

thx for any help.

PS... I must give mad props to all the arists who have posted on this forum i have been very impressed by everyones work...

The first that comes to mind for me is simply green (although you probly already thought the same thing). Are you looking to add clothes/armor? That would interesting, since the model inself is really good. If so, then I could give you a little more advice

But a dark jungle greeen sounds good to me. Maybe I am missing something?

yeah i think that he is gonna stay bare ass... and i think that green was the first thing to come to my mind also but i thought that it had been done already, a lot... so i was looking for some insperation... maybe even grey/blue or redish orange but i cannot see it yet... and i am not sure what textureal qualitys to give him either.. ie: hairy or dry krusty skin or smooth skin etc...

Perhaps try an overall dark grey-green, but add different coloured highlights, ie. red, purple, yellow, etc....

I might have a little play wit it... hope you don't mind...

i would tend to every kind of camouflage the nature has. something between browny things and greeny things, depending where he/she/it's living.
i would make "oily" highlights on it and try out some of the colors these poisonous frogs have...

i would love him/her/it in glowing blue with black dots

What comes to mind when I see that little fellow is "red". Yeah, red. With mayby purple freckles in his chest and belly and the top of his head.

I'd make him green. Light yellowish greenish, but I would, make his belly, brow and nose, egg colored and speckled with black freckles.

black or really dark blue with some orange thrown in for contrast.
