Anybody like airplanes? Here's my first try at this sort of thing... started in illustrator and am finishing in photoshop. Thanks for any comments!

the last polish has to be done:
add some details like shadows and lights at the place where two metal-plates come together, make some cracks in the metal, rusty playes etc...
and at some places, the outline is a little bit too much illustrator-like (the air-thing at the plane's belly)
but it's nice as far. i look forward to the finished piece posted here again =) |

It looks like an illustration from one of those WWII books you always see on sale in bookstores. Great job . . . ! |

The cockpit glass could have some reflection of a sunny sky... and some smoke streams at the exhausts... |

looking good, but as ppl have said, more detail and a clear distinct lightsource.
I love p-51 btw, my fav airplane. |
