Here is an older concpet im repaintng since the old version really sucked, could use some help with light placement, do you guys have any tips im realy having a lot of trouble with figuring out how light hits the surfaces anyboyd know of a good book or maybe a tut that could help me improve in that area?

At any rate this is the picture enjoy and feel free to coment/give advice/criticque

Well, its been a couple of hours since i put this topic up and out of boredom and the lack of any responses i worked a little bit on the project shown above and i cam up with this, plz tell me if you think im goin in the right dir.

Seems a little messy right now, you might want to touch things up a bit such as his hair and add some shading, and post it again.
