Looks like his (or it's) right arm is broken. In a most peculiar position. I'm too tired to do a redraw right now, so I'll say get in a similar position yourself and observe you. @:-)

interesting idea. I would keep the idea, but do some study sketches of the body position and the muscles involved and then go back to this with more knowledge of the subject.
