I absolutely love this type of painting style. You're fantastic at it, too. I'm also a big fan of those long, thin arms... hell, I do them all the time! Great job on all of this... like I said, the painterly mastery you've managed. Great job on how convincily fleshy this disturbing fellow is, too... don't get me wrong, but I love that fold of flesh where his but presses on his foot.
Congrats! Now I'm gonna have to do some of these, once I manage a little free time. Thanks a ton for posting it, man. This truly is incredible! |

Nice!
this is very very interresting.. this is soo dramatic. the colouring suites the mood of the person or thing lying there.
well done!
Just one thing. =)
the arm. do you think that arm is strong enough too be soo long?
ehehhe =)
just a thought |

thanx again!
since some people seem to be interested, here are the vitals stats on the drawing...
it's 9x12 sketchbook page with masking tape here and there, drawing with a bic pen, and painted with black and white pastels and acrylic paint.
so, that's it! |

great! i also love this kind of style and shading, and you seem to be good at it!
one thing i don't like from this image is that since the head is out of the image, you are forced to head your eyes towards it, and the rest of the body tends to be ignored....
one solution (without change the structure and drawing) could be to darken the head, move it to shadows, i dont know very well..
congratulations, i'm expecting more stuff from you ![](images/smiles/icon_razz.gif) |
