Anybody got any idea as to how to turn this into an interesting picture? I'm kinda stuck at the moment...
Also tips on how to make the cliffs look more "real".

Maybe a blimp going down in flames?
The cliffs look sweet. I would just add some texture to them. You know like when spooge uses low opacity photos behind to please the eye.
Also fade the mountains back as they go into the distance. And try not to make them as bright as the cliff face that the viewer is standing on.

Maybe a little more contrast in the rock face. It's kind of bland. |

the cliffs seem to regular. someone explained this better a while ago, except with trees. try to irregularly space things because nature isn't so "perfect." if you can understand what im saying.

Ok thanks for replying. I'll try to get some more irregularity into the cliff side. and more contrast in the foreground.

This is my favouritt pice of you Zulu. The cloud are stunning and the cliff looks good to! I suggest you take look at some of Lokis matte paintings if you want to see how the cliff could be better. "lodge revisited" is a great pic for reference. Looks good anyway.
How to make it more interesting...?... I personaly would make this a bit bizare. Maybe a dead skydiver hanging from the edge, and some big bad birds in the air.....
Anyway....thats just me! Love it! |
