Here are some sketches I've made today. The horse was drawn from a picture, the other stuff was made without ref.
Does anyone have comments on what I need to do to become better?

Not a bad start. The horse is really big, and his anatomy's a bit off, but then animals can be tough. On the people, the top right guy doesn't have a crotch-by that I mean that his legs attach directly above his hips, rather than to his hips. Give him some hips and it'll be OK. The bottom right one looks OK so far...can't tell about the lower left one. The top left guy looks OK too, although maybe his upper body's too long. Good luck.
