I am really liking this pic so far. It's just a character sketch but I have grown attached to it even though it isnt really any good.

He's some sort of lil gnome guy in case you were wondering about proportion.

Just wondering what all of you think. I can't wait to color him but that will have to wait till after work.

Any of you wanna give it a whirl? I'd love to see what someone else can do with my attrocious artwork.

Hey man, Great sketch. I really like the style to it.
My 2 cents are these...
he seems to have a slightly elongated head. This is fine, but I think that it usually happens with taller people. He's a short one, and it looks a bit off. At the same time, it adds to his engineeresque look. One option for this would be to put the shoulders a little bit higher, so it looks like he's a little slouched over.
It seems like his arms hang forward a bit, but since he's standing erect, they seem to penetrate his torso. I realize this is probably for the definition of the costume, but overall it looks like he's a little compressed in the torso area.
basically, I'd raise the shoulder area, have the head hang forward a bit more, and give more arc to the back?
It looks great though.

Thanks for the feedback. His torso is very condensed as you say. I was experimenting with what it would look like having a taller persons head and arms on a short persons torso and legs.

Glad you like the style. I was trying for something a little different all together. I have just completed a whole series of fantasy sketches in the same style. It's influenced from Madureira the most I think.

I like it!
The left shoe looks a bit odd though, like it's supposed to be covered by the cloak but it isn't so it looks a bit chopped of. Anyway nothing to do about it, i wouldnt start changing something on a picture like this, after all the detailing and all.

Color would be cool!

Nice, I like the gear of the wizard. Well done drawing, my only wweeeuuup is that the staff looks a littlt unnatural. Perhaps a strap to hold it to the character or have the characters left hand holding it in place. Can't wait to see the coloured version.
