Okay but seriously...
I think the anatomy of the angel is a bit stylized, but it could definitely work if it is properly shaded. Keep working on that, I think the pose has potential.
The clouds are a major part of this picture. As such, I think they should be more complex. A little more detailed and realistic. Take a look at some of ceenda's pictures. I think he even had a cloud tutorial at one point. Maybe it was Loki. One of those two.
But it's looking good so far. Has nice depth to it. Feels very airy and open. |

Tinusch: man, those are some awesome angles
pretty cool, but i think it would look better is the arms weren't pointing forward. :P |

doh, i cant believe i wrote "angle" instead of "angel" in the topic. sigh...
tinusch, thanks for the angles, not angels. im fairly new this whole "painting" deal. i usually just sketch. but thanks, im gonna go search for some cloud tutorials on the board.

hey hey here comes the monkey....
You can change the name of the post. Go and edit your first post. I agree the arms should not point forward. If the angel is rising perhaps put the arms to the side. Kinda what you would look like when you are rising to the surface after you have dived off of the diving board.
