Nice concepts... The first one reminds me of the spacefighters from Babylon 5, but without the wingthrusters.

ok, started overpainting the first piece. I'm not too high on the color scheme though, the yellow light from the front just looks tacky. Gives it a weird b-movie poster spaceship feel. Any suggestions? |

| Oh and big thanks for the comments, appreciated. And Starfuries are leet. My wings are just for the looks/atmospheric flight/nice to put blinking lights on. |

it looks a bit plastic... and also its has an sixties design... remember these orange plastic chairs? 
Flatten the Specular Highligths. Less Glossines.
Add some smaller details...like the pilots name on the cockpit, warning-signs, some dirt and so on...
These are the things i would change... but you dont have too!

Mm, yeah, it looks better with a less glossy surface. Gonna make this into a movie poster mock-up now, ehheh.
I'll render some more detail and do the background now.
Maybe the next post will be in the finished works -section

The wings are the next thing I'll do. Gotta make them conform to the new paintjob.
..but I go get some shuteye now.

| hey nice pic, looks really cool, but hmm the only problem i see is why is there an orange reflection on the left side (from my perspective)? Shouldn't they be on the side thats facing the planet? hmm or is it from another light source? hell it does look cool though |
