This is a head I've been modeling from scratch in between getting laid off and job hunting, taking Ron Lemen's and Andrew Burward-Hoy's head drawing class at Watts Atelier, and teaching myself html.
He's done in 3DStudio Max alternating between patches and polygons. I think the face count is at 3800 polygons. I'll eventually give him a body and hair, but it'll be a while.

I made him out of patches in 3DSMax 3.1. Haven't quite gotten the hang of it, but I'm working on it. |

Great stuff, looking really good. Can't wait to see the final model.
I liked your online portfolio as well.
Great Daikatana and Deux ex stuff. Is the girl in there from any game? The one you made and textured?
Oh FYI, go to www.webmonkey.com if you want the best resource to learning html and all the other good stuff.
Take it easy |

The girl was for a location based arcade game that unfortunately isn't going to see the light of day. |

Nice head!!! It's a little square But its good when you want to show a tough guy.
You can try adding some flesh that will link the nose with the rest of the head. Now it seems that the nose sticks to it.
Keep doing the great works. |
