Cool sketches Spike I like the heads alot, markers are pretty slick, I just picked some up today, but I realize you can't mix warm grey's with cool grey's. Makes an ugly mess. Keep 'em comin |

HardCoil: My favorite is the one in the third picture. He just looks so mischevious. It is cute in a way...
tyron: I can't send you markers, they are so f---ing expensive! I suggest that you buy your own. This is strange, you were the last person I expected to get a reply on. I thought I already showed you these.
Akolyte: I only have cool greys. Well... there are some ways to mix both cool and warm. I have seen examples of both being used. Dunno where but you could use cool greys for characters/foreground and warm greys for scenery/background. Or the other way around. Should create a neato effect. |

Hi ya all. I did these a while ago when I got my cool grey markers. Quite fun to use actually.
These sketches were inspired from the very fine weather outside the window. I started to sketch out the clouds outside, and suddenly I had all these funny lizard looking heads. I never really drew much lizards before so these came out by far better than I expected.
I dunno... they look intelligent but stupid at the same time. Someone told me it was the underbite that did that. What do you think? |
