This is some graphic for a little java game based on hangman. Here the flash movie changes (the dude gets closer to death) everytime you guess wrong and the little clock shows your progression.

My question: are the two styles here uncompatable? What if there was a border around the flash movie that matched the clock?

It would help if you had a metallic border or something along those lines around the flash animation.
As it stands, it looks like it just "floats" on the screen.

Yep, I agree. IMO the styles aren't compatable. And a border tying the two together would help. Maybe something less metalic and more cartoony? My 2 cents. Please post the final result if you can...
