Thats some nice inkin'! Just make sure his legs don't get too big, unless that's what you're after. Reminds me a lot of Agent 44's stuff.

Hi Etah,

Hey thanks for the reply!

That inking is Painter 5.03 combined with a Wacom 6x8! I love Painter...did I mention how much I love Painter? haha.

You know I remember liking Agent 44's stuff! I can't say I am emulating his style, but I would take that comparison as a compliment.

Oh yeah, he's got big legs coz they are in armor, and I want the armor to look believable...still going...I bought a gun magazine yesterday for reference..so the gun will get a lot of TLC.

Thanks again!

His pose looks kind of static and a bit strange, hard to see what he's doing. Is he standing or running? You have a nice design on the character and the linework looks cool.

Ah yes, he'll be standing, and the other leg isn't done yet.

Thanks for the crits!

Wonder why I bump this up? Well, I felt like it .

Nice work I must say. Expecially torso/head. I like the marines from SC better, but I guess you can't use your old models for your new game, eh? Oh, that project was secret, eh? Sorry.

You had some days to get further with it. Post your result man!

Hahahaha!! No this really is not SC art..I really did it on my own, in fact, I wasn't really thinking of SC when I did it...if I posted NDA concept art here I'd be in big trouble.

Nope, just my own stuff...everything I do is Sci-Fi Fantasy, for the most part..that is pretty much what I am interested in.

Watch for new paintings! This one is not finished..I am working on a group of Orcs preparing for Battle right now..

Cool, that theme you are working on. And again I ask how long does it take you for your lineart? Are you sketching before on paper, scan and ink it on computer then? And I will ask those questions on and on. Till you answer em I won't ask about that new sci-fi shooter of you tho. We don't want you to get into trouble

How did you get here?

Hi there..

>Cool, that theme you are working on. And again I ask how long does it take you for your lineart?<

Thanks! Let's see...depends...a few hours, if I do it all at once..some time to sketch out the basic pose or whatever, then I pick my lines and SWOOP there they are..I try to make fluid lines in one stroke (in Painter 5).

> Are you sketching before on paper, scan and ink it on computer then?<

Nope, I just draw them with Painter 5 using the scratchboard tool. I use a Wacom Intuos 6 x 8 (USB) as well.

> And I will ask those questions on and on. Till you answer em <

I don't recall you asking me about this before! Hey well I hope I answered yer question. There ya go...

Nuthin to tell.

>How did you get here?

Someone sent out a link to Sijun, so here I am.

Wow, you reply quick. I thought it's kinda late over there in UsofA. well, 7 to 9 hours back... that is ..erm.. 6-8 am?

Well, whatever. I'm glad that mail arrived to blizzard. It came bouncing back, because it had "graphic artists" or something in the head line. I hate those auto-response systems. Seems that finally someone read it
