This is my dipiction of a story from the Bible. God sends fire from the sky to Mount Carmel. I tried to find good ref. on landscapes at night but no luck. Any help to make this a better painting would make me love you.
Thanks |

Hey thanks. I just wasn't sure if I liked the background mountains and close up hills.
I went to school in Columbus at CCAD and am freelancing now although its been a really slow start.
I live in Massillon very close to the border of N. Canton.
Know the area? |

Hey it looks great! Any reworking of the surrounding area would detract from the focus area (which is the holy smite).
I think it looks good as is too! |

Thanks and I aggree with you that overworking a piece is unforgivable. Although I will try to at least touch up the mountains a little. Same value of course so it doesn't take the attention away. |

I dig it! Very Old Testament.
I really think more people should do scenes from the Bible. I'm an atheist myself, but I see a lot of potential in a book that contains so much violence, sex and divine micromanagement. |

As an atheist myself, I'd say we lay it out on a table and see what god thinks. If it doesn't change, you nailed it! Hehehe.
No really..good work man.
