I was hoping to finish this and post it in Finished Work, but I think it's just about run its course. It's really not the look I was going after, and the subject matter/composition/pose is boring(and it's overworked...)but I did learn more about using Photoshop's brushes. At this point I'd rather move on than finish this, but opinions are still welcome.

Looking good so far. I understand where you are with this - it's getting too tight, and you're no longer inspired by the subject/composition. I've been there many times. I'd recommend re-working it - try the same subject, alter the lighting or put some more design thought into the weapon/clothing etc.

Keep up the nice work.

Sedone, keep going with it, I think it's got great potential. Just get the guy and foreground stuff, wall and gun to the same level of detail as the guys face. The rest of the background, I think looks cool if you keep it pretty much as it is, quite loose.
At the end, maybey tweek up the whole thing a bit. I'd really like to see this one finnished. Great work so far!

Well guys I gotta admit your moral support is encouraging. I think I'll finish it after all, but after looking at Justin Sweet's stuff I can't help but loathe my artwork. I'll keep pluggin' away at it...
