That is styln'. Love the paint to sketch transition. I think that you might want to reconsider the position of the eyes on the face perhaps they should be positioned more inline with the nose.

Wow, I really like the painterly effect you've got going on the armour. How did you get it streaky like that? Is that using a smudge tool? |

I think the design and mood created is really nice, with evocative texturing and the like. The only 'errors' as such are ones of perspective modelling; i.e. the (figure's) left shoulderpad should be higher and more tucked around the back, as does the left side of the breastplate and so on. It's just a case of really nailing the geometry/perspectives first as separate 3D shapes before adding the paint.
cheers

Hmmm..excellent scetch..and the coloring is ok..it just looks muddy to me. I think that is lack of experience with using photoshop . It seems to me like you have a good idea of light and color. Now you just have to make your surfaces smooth and your values constant with the lighting...looks great though dont get me wrong |

In response to specialbrew, I kinda like the muddy effect myself...smoothing it might take away some of the charm.
I LOVE the pic.

yes, she is a bit lopsided, isn't she? i guess maybe the character didn't have enough cash for a complete boob-job, so she just opted for one implant. or something...

i would try to soften her skin a but thats about it owe and when it's all done try using the dodge and burn tool to just add finial highlights and darks.
the dodge burn tool is the one under the paint can.
and if you set it to the had when you normal use it, it will be dark and then hold down alt and it lightens.
and there are options at the top for meduim, highlights and shadows.
they all do a little different lighting check it out it's realy cool if you do not already know. |
