OK, this had no refurance. I think over all for no refurance the body looks ok.

But this was more about the coloring than the structure.
I took everyones advice. Dodge and burn tool, big brushes then small brushes for detail.
I am still working on the backround so be posting it when it's done.

comments welcome

Ok I'm gonna play both sides.

Better then previous pic, I like the wings they work well. The chest armor still loks like it dosen't really belong in the pic.

my guess: 3

What the hell?

I posted my Eldar (can be seen at the "working on b/w stuff"-thread) 3 minutes after this picture. I had already planned the basic colours I'd use later on it: green, blue and yellow.

Strange.

Stniel, your improving that is obvious. GJ and don't let these other folks get you down. I know you had a "shaky" start, but keep at it.

Ah well, I remember seeing that flying stance many times, not least in the old codex eldar. Probably just a coincidence

C'mon Toylet. I have as little overall respect for Stneil777 as the next guy, but he's doing exactly what we all want him to do here...posting something that is obviously his work, not a rip-off, paint-over, etc. Let's be fair...his pic looks nothing like the one you posted.

Stneil: Lots of anatomical problems here, but I like the colour effect you've come up with for the wings. You should think about practicing drawing figures with pencil for a while before worrying about colouring skills. Or, if you really want to practice colouring, keep your eyes open for people who post line art and invite others to colour it.

Hey, hey... I wasn't accusing anyone for anything, I was just wondering the weird coincident.

I mean, we posted these two pictures almost at the same time. And I had already planned to use almost the same colour scheme. And that's strange.

[edit: removed an inconvenient sentence]
