I have been working on this image for about a day or so anyone have any ideas for a background. Also any hints on doing hair, I seem to have trouble with that. ![](http://www.mikemeredith.com/dragongirl.htm) |

Cool pic, like the colours but have one thing that bothers me.
What happened to her legs!!
Looks like she's been cut off just above the knees. Such a tradgey for a good looking woman. ![](images/smiles/icon_confused.gif) |

*nod* Looks fantabulous! The thing as mentioned before was the.. problem of the apparently missing legs. I think the thing that indicates this is the wall corner isn't even 90 degrees.
An idea to solve this and add as a background is perhaps change the area the girl is standing in into a tower, circular with little square segments sticking upward. In this case, you can perhaps place the rest of the castle in the background.. in addition to sky , clouds, and perhaps distant mountains in the background to use as comparison for height. For the dragon may not have legs either and you need to indicate that clearly that it does.
As for your problem with your hair, you may want to try this courtesy of EnaylaHere |

thanks for the idea Eviltoylet as well as the tutorial. I like the mountains idea but not really the castle. I tried providing more indication of the legs witha lighter color on the back wall any boddy think this helps? Like I said I do like the idea of mountians in the background maybe a small castle on one of them would help with comparision of height. Anyone else crit away, and thanks
