Sijuns forum is back!! Yippiee!!
*jumping up and down in the chair*

Well here's a pic i've been working on during the weekend.( 3 evenings.)
The problem is the background, i was thinking of just adding some cool colors and fog.
But I think that would make the face less interesting. Maybe someone could help me out..

hey not bad.. he seems a bit stiff, but it still looks really good. the hair is really nice. good work

Awetopsy: well when you mension it..
Ive tryed like 5 different lens colors for the googles but the green did look best. I was afraid everyone would say
- He looks like the guy from the game "Gunman chronicles"

Guy: Yeah, i know what you mean. Ive done som big changes with the neck an the background now, but i wont post it until im satisfyed with it.

He does look a little on the stiff side. I do really like his scar though. And the diffuse light on the extra shiny bits on his goggle. It's easy to go overboard with these effects, which would be pretty inappropriate in a portrait.

You can cover most of that green space if you tilt his shoulders a bit and then draw, next to his face, some sort of intricate gun (which he is holding up vertically next to his face)...

Just an idea.

Ok, well, then, for originality, you could expand the picture a bit on the left side and have a little girl kissing him on the cheek :-)

hi there hehe that reminds me alot of that one guy in the movie where the eclipse happens, then all those weird squeaking killer creatures come out and the army guy with those strange goggles kills everything. twice.
