The pics you guys posted where inspirational, so I decided to repaint the whole colossus. Here's the result. I guess you could say that I cheated a bit with the guy. He was done in grayscale to get the values right. Then I laid on the color. I can't seem to get values right when using color directly. I think it's a big improvement from my old one

Looks cool ewok, but the contrasted sky takes away from the figure. What's he made out of?

You sure the sky takes away from him that much? He's pretty contrast himself, being in the shadow of the sun with highlights where his skin hits light.

What's he made of...hrmm, that's a good question..very good question. Hehe, how bout semi matte silvery bronze(if such a thing exists )..no..actually I have no clue what he's made out of. Perhaps some magical metal of some sort.

Added reflective lighting from shield..umm fixed hand I think(it took over an hour on the hand alone!)..defined chest and face area.
