It would be nice if anyone has any constructive suggestions to what I should do for a background, I have totaly lost the thread to why I started this image....

Hmm this is strange, no replies. could it be that my image has no faults, nothing needs to be added or fixed... wooohpiiie, offcourse I'm just kidding, come on I realy could use the help here, some critique, please!

What a funny face he's making! wonderful expression.
I like the airbrushing - reminds me of Terry Gilliam's old animations. The light on the forehead is too bright, i think you could merge the eyes better with the face.
as fore the background... I think that a nice suburban setting, with a street, picket fences, blue skies and the mailman would be nice. (He could be the mailman, just put the hat on his head and a dog barking on him).

Ah, how sweet, atlast some critique, thank you Seagull, yes I have noticed that the eyes looks strange, the forehead is as you noticed, too bright... I like the suggestion about the background, that'll be the first thing I'll fix after work tomorrow, but for the mailman, I'll skip that one

Here is an updated version of the.... hmm well mutant, I did some changes to the eyes and a few other things, though for the background a friend of mine suggested an easier way to fix it, an out of focus jungle! You might have to bare with me I'm not done yet! Wow, that's awesome stuff! A bit blurry, that's the only crit.

i agree w/ seagull here. eyes could be blended into the socket shadows a little better but all in all it looks good. and about the mailman thingy, *LOL* that's funny.

the drawing reminds me of that guy from that "toxic avengers" cartoon.

i like the way the background's done but it makes the mutant look out of place.. because the leaves suggest a more.. serene.. uh, 'normal' theme.. *shrug* just looks weird to me.

different background suggestion: maybe draw a neon or key-lime-colored background. something to suggest radiation. some tanks and some fumes or something a rather. *shrug* spice up the picture. but make the background darker to draw more attention to the so-called 'mutant'
