Any ideas on how I can make wrinkles on it's skin more realistic, and improve the ink cloud?
Thanks

I dunn know how this works under water.
But since you made a light source in the upper right. Perhaps you can go over the skin with some highlights from it.
AS now it's right eye looks brighter then the left one, even though the left one is facing the light.
Anyways. The wrinkles etc, will look more realistic if you worked them over with some shadows and highlights i think. Kinda more details.
I think the ink is kool. Perhaps if you make it darker, i dunno...

oh yeah ..
the ink ..
i think you should make the ink cloud smaller. Erase some in the left (of the picture). Since squiddys swim away from their clouds, and it looks like he's heading left then, it should be spreaded to the right. Just erase some of it in the left perhaps... |

Okay um.... I would loose the ink cloude entirely and pop him onto a rock. Then you can do the bottom and the surface and it would be easier to tell that it's underwater,.... uh, You could also shade the wrinkles and stuff, cuz other objects make it a little easier.
