Hi Sijun guyz !
Here is a character I drew yesterday ... A Christina Ricci pic gave me the idea of this drawing :
Well, it's not "digi-art" for the moment, but I'll color it in Photoshop ...
I think the left shoulder is wrong : the left arm looks a bit twisted, then. I have to fix this ...
By the way , I NEED YOUR HELP !! I'm looking for some baseball related pics and photographs, in order to draw the stadium behind this girl ; I need some references for the player who sits behind and catches the ball, too ( I don't know the english word for this ... well, i don't know the french one, either ... ) . If you have some pics like this, plz feel free to e-mail me !! Remember, I NEED YOUR HELP !
Thanks ....
Pior

thats a vicious style! i love it, do u do any graffitti?
as for a critique... i think her left arm does look off at the shoulder. id also pull back her right shoulder and raise her left knee, even enough to take her heel up off the ground a bit (maybe too much work) also MAYBE a slightly greater arch in the small of the back - that might increase the tension as if the ball was closer to the point of contact and she had heightened rediness. like i said the inks are perfect but the pose isnt as dynamic as it could be...
BTW i think it looks great on its own without a stadium. meaning no i dont have photo references but i cant imagine theyd be to hard to track down with a google search... |

i like it. good stuff. only thing i can think to work on other than what has been said and what will be said (just covering my ground here ) is think about the composition of the page. maybe a baseball girl in the middle of a page rocks your boat, but i'd like to see something that communicates more visually. |

in addition to what i said, turning her hips slightly to her clockwise would work as well. they seem a little to front on.

Hello guys ...
I finally get a better idea for this pic : I'll draw a kind of blurred stadium in the backround, and I'll add a trading-card-like outline to the whole image, with the name ,age and skills of the player ...
I'll try to make a sort of yellowish old photograph rendering ...
Hope this will work ... but now, I have to find baseball related trading cards references , too ...

That must be the most painful hip in the entire world.

art line is excellent though the posture could use more work but i think it's too late for that, now is it?
she looks like she is about to hit someone and not something (like, umm.. a softball).
her shoulders, should be twisted cloakwise much more and so should the hips like roundeye said. where is the leverage, man?
but good line and the card idea seems right. post it when it's done!
