I did this in school today, trying to avoid being bored to death. Since I succeeded, i thought some of you might enjoy this one. It's all pencil except a little resizing of the head in PS (I tend to draw heads of girls too big). Her left shoulder is a little far out, but what the hell...enjoy.

Ah, yes, and feel free to crit/comment...

Thanks! Hehe, that's why i called it "slightly goth". Guess it's because of my ex-girlfriend, who liked to adapt some goth accessories, that were to her liking (and mine), but not the whole style. I liked that mixture a lot...but she was a blonde, maybe the contrast is too hard here.

Honestly, what makes this "appear" goth to those who replied here?

I just found her to be a sexy woman. Nothing more to say other than nice work.

Peace,

Her underwear's showing!

That makes her more raver than goth, in my book.

Good sketch, in any case. The one in the top-left looks like she's walkin' like an egyptian.

Doom Generation was good until he licked his own cum off of his hand. That ruined it for me.

Quite nice, but the shape of the eyes are a bit strange. Her left eye appears flat, and makes the face appear as a plane. Try to model the shapes of the bones in the face before you add the features, remembering that the eyeball is a sphere with lids stretched over.
Also the collarbone should follow the curvature of the ribcage. Try drawing a center line down from the neck
The clothing is rendered very nicely with good detail- so the anatomy of the face detracts from the oveall sketch.
Gotta love those t-shirt stretch lines.

XangadiX: Thanks! Never heard of that movie, maybe it's got a different name here in germany.

Wireframe: Thanks! I think the haircut, make-up and collar with the ring have a gothic-touch, at least to me. Not that I'm too much into this, but sometimes the mixture of romance and sexyness is really attractive.

Waylon: Thanks! The top left is supposed to be something like "leaning to a window, looking through". But the pose doesn't really make sense. I just try to force myself to do some more unusual poses to learn from, when doodling. Concerning her underwear your book is right. Just mixing elements i like.

rocket_sled: Thanks for the crits! She ain't supposed to look too realistic, rather anime-influenced, but still you are right about the eye. I have to draw more from life to get this right. I don't really understand, what you said concerning the collarbone. What do you think is wrong? Thanks for the sketch, though.

Oh. I just realized the upper left one is in desperate need of a thumb on her left hand. How embarassing.

Well i think it's good, i've seen loads of 'slightly goth' girls, and that's a pretty good likeness. I think what makes the head stand out is that you've made the lines very dark, and the rest of the body looks light in comparisson. The clothing has been done very well, every body likes a little bit of knickers showing now and then . Great stuff
