Ookay.... here be a little pic I spent a few minutes on. I tried using a airbrush+ smudge tech to see how it would work... so.. uh here it is.
Apart from the glaring unsmudged parts...
I'm wondered what I can do to make this technique work better.

what happens is this: if you try to put the image in the page, you get a nice little broken image dealio. If you put a link to it on the same page, your system already thinks it's a broken file because you tried to reach the file already from a site outside of geocities... You could just delete the image from the post and just post the url... that would solve that

Does anyone know what's up with YOU for using geocites?
As for your smudge thingie, experiment. Smudge is generally not a good path to sucessful images, but people are drawn to it at first as it seems to do something. But do as you like, experiment. There aren't really full methods to be given out. |

Travis, don't be rude.
Geocities used to have the best free hosting available. Then they were bought out by Yahoo. Yahoo has neglected Geocities, cut its bandwidth, and basically made it a pathetic, near-useless waste of several hundred terrabytes. It's a shame, but you don't really need to insult others for trying to host files at Geocities. |
