I know the trutles thing is over and done with but I wanted to make mine really good.

I wasnt gonna post this till It was done but it is taking me a while so Im gonna show you the 1/2 way mark.. I think. I dont have alot of time every day to work on it so Im just gonna post it now.

I am gonna finish this one tho.

of course all crits and comments are welcome but Im not gonna change anything too much more than it is now. I know the arm bands dont match the mask but thats cuz thats how they are in the movie I think.

anyways comment away, please.

Aw man, I cant see it!

I'm a die hard turtle fan.. Ninja Turtles got me started drawing, oh so many years ago.

I kinda favored Donatello, cuz he was a lot like me, or well, I wanted to be him, heheh.

nice work indeed, but isnt the armthings black in the movies ??

Its really nice but I must say I prefer the more real look that they had in those fisrt "adult" cartoons =))...

Hey, looks like this is coming along quite well. The pose looks good. I think the colors are little too monotonous and flat though. Well, you said that you won't do any big changes, but... If I'd be doing this I'd try to use little more variation in hues in the shadow and light areas, not just the same color in different brightness values.

Actually It is several different colors. The greens aretn just picked lighter and lighter. When its done there will alsoa back light and some darker darks to give it a harsher feeling..

Im hoping to put it in the sheathe furthest away... but if that doesnt work out we'll just have to assume he lost it in battle

Its starting to look better now and Ill probly update it soon..

like I said I dont have too much time to work on this so Its kinda a back-burner project.

But the important thing is Im learning a bunch from this.

[edit]in the final version there will be higher contrast and some backlighting.... mebbe some mist.. Im gonna leave the background black for now tho... mebbe a ray of light or something but I dont want to take any of the focus off of the character
