Center design with space for
typography on the right. The really dark stuff on the black side is on a different layer and supposed to be printed in thick, shiny black rather than the matte background.

Interesting, but I think without the text it's hard to figure out how it would really look.

that scanned tape turned out really well, nothing sticks out too much, and nothing is too faded, I like the bird-flower shapes in the middle as well... |

Sorry, Spitfire. I couldn't resist.
I do dig your work and it does turn my screen on. Hopefully we can see with text?

Man i know im out of my league when i say this and im really sorry but ive had this on my mind and cant hold it anymore =(. Its not necessairily this picture but also everyone that does this type of digital art is getting REALLY REALLY annoying to see. Everything is always the same style except maybe different colors. It just looks the same from picture to picture and artist to artist.
But add some text and a few picture and this could be cool =)

Yeah. Its just like manga. Everyone draws the same eyes and hair. Or fantasy. Everyone draws the same muscles and swords and dragons. There is no individuality or originality, we are all mindless fucking sheep in the herd of big brother. Hail.

From the greek Cheiros (hand) and Pteron (wing). Animals whose hands evolved into wings (rather than arm into wing, like birds). The only existant species at the moment would be the bat.
Anyway, cant tell you what it "is" at the moment. Heh. Secret.

i really like the image and it is now my background, you and SplitSoul's stuff mkae really great desktop backgrounds. Before, i had SplitSoul's "wrath" up but i am afraid your took the cake. I am awaiting to see Splitsoul's next piece.
... quickly now compete for my background space ...
also about that wing thing wouldn't that be part of divergent evolution like the butterfly, bird, and bat having the ability to fly but not the same structure or design of wings. but i did not know that the bat wing came from the hand , *feverishly reads bio book*

Look at a bats wing... its actually a giant hand, with skin in between the fingers. This, ofcourse, is because somehow mammals never took the evolutional sidestep of totally abandoning arms for wings. Makes you wonder why...

Keto, what you're referring to is called convergent evolution, where different species evolve similar traits independent of each other. For example, the eyeball evolved 40 different times in separate species. Divergent evolution is when one species splits off in two or more directions, or in other words when different species have a common ancestor (like apes and man or dolphins and cows).
I think that's what they mean, anyway.
