Okay, well, it is a vampire.
I did this really quickly (a couple of hours) and didn't take as much time on it as I should have. I'm having some trouble and was wondering if you all would be so kind as to figure out what's wrong with it.

I can't figure the lighting out. No matter what I do it comes out looking wrong. Is red lighting like that impossible? Lighting is one of those things I need to work on, which is part of the focus of this excercise. I've already started to retouch the lighting and forehead a bit since I JPG-ified the image, but I can't get it right.

If you have any input, or ideas on how to fix it to make it look perdy, PLEASE don't hesitate to post em up here!

Not that I'm an expert with lighting either, since it's a weak spot of mine as well, or it's not that I'm an expert in digital art since this is my first post, but I don't think your lighting is so bad but the fact that you let your lighting take away from detail. For example the forehead is lacking the symetry on his left side where you have the lighting. The wrinkles that are obvious on his right side fade to nothing on the left and shoud continue but have the appropriate lighting. I think you have the hands pretty well and the right side of his face, but also you need more highlights on the left side of his face by his mouth. If that is your light source than lighten up some of those shadows around the mouth. The shadows on his right are the same as on his left and they should be lighter on that left side.

Overall it's very cool though. The red lighting seems to work well and is in the right spots, just a little work on the other lighting and you have it.

you must remember that just because there are two lightsources on an object, it doesnt mean that the shadows that happen becasue of one stop because of the other.
