Im not done with this yet, I plan on adding the tail, finishing the foot and adding the background, does anyone have any advice to make it look a little bit better?

maybe some tips on sharpening it up, I am not to good at that.

He looks pretty cute I just thought this morning that I could try to draw a puppy ... what a coincidence.. maybe you could work on the anatomy of his legs... they seem a lil odd to me. I also think that the hind foot could use some indication of nails

yah it does look good all I can say is don't be afraid to go darker. I think you could bring out alot more in detail if you darkened some more areas and put small light hairs in the dark area so it didn't look like a dark blob.

excellent work. Im suprised you havent had very many responses...

you need some darker values on the back.. more contrast Is what Im trying to say... especially if you are trying to go for that in-the-sun feel.
